How to Update

We are not responsible for any damage in your Device so do it at your ** own Risk **
The update will delete all your data (Factory Reset)

1.unpack the update file

2.install the Drivers by plugging the device without Battery and you have to be quick, try to open the device manager first and point the MT65xx proloader to the First folder and when you finish installing correctly the driver unplug your device

3.Start the flash_tool.exe from second folder and choose from the middle right Scatter-Loading and point it to the third folder and choose the scatter file

4.the files will be loaded

5.choose Firmware->Upgrade without plugging the device and wait till the files loads and the pink load bar finish all the loadings and after that plug in your device without battery and the update will start, wait till you get the Download O.K. green circle

6. unplug the device, put the battery and enjoy (the Start will take about 2 min)

    1. No, u can't update with this update file. It's difference file between ur phone and A369i. And u continue to do this aswell, I sure u have hard-brick. Don't be take aggresive to install directly into ur phone. As ur phone running GB 2.3.6, just take patient and I sure that ur phone will be get ICS first. I just thinking it.

If you are sure that your device is lenovo a369i then you will need to format the device first with flash tool and after that you can update but it will be better to backup your nvram with mtktools first to recover the imei if they disappear .

Beware this update is not for your device it is only for a369i and not for a369 they are almost the same but the ram is 256 on a369 and there is no update above 2.3.6 for your device I think

    3. Have you installed the MT65xx preloader driver?

      Delete
    4. If it still shows unknown device after installing MT65xx preloader driver, you will have to use meta mode to flash the stock firmware.

    5. This comment has been removed by the author.

    6. Meta mode has a separate driver. You will have to download that driver and install it. I don't remember the exact name of that driver. After you install that driver, start the SP flash tool, load the scatter file and click on the download button. Then remove the battery and plug in the USB cable of your phone while pressing the volume up button. If all goes well, the firmware should start downloading.
